Membership types

We offer one, two and five year Koru Club memberships to suit your travel needs. The longer the membership, the more you save. You can pay with a credit/debit card, or with Airpoints if you have enough to cover the full membership cost.

Koru Club benefits

Koru Lounge access

Step out of the terminal and into the oasis of the Koru Lounge. With Koru Club, you can access the Regional, Domestic and International Koru Lounges and selected partner lounges.³

You can bring one guest who is travelling with you into the Koru Lounge, as well as up to three children aged between 3 and 17 (inclusive), and children two and under.

Frequent Flyer Seating

Koru Club includes access to Frequent Flyer Seating, usually located towards the front of the Economy cabin.

You'll also get complimentary access to Exit Row or unsold Premium seats 48 hours before departure.

Priority Boarding

Be among the first to board with Priority Boarding. Settle in, find a space for your carry-on and get comfortable before departure.

Premium Check-in

Enjoy quicker bag drop and a smoother start to your journey with dedicated Premium Check-in counters.

Baggage benefits

Additional Checked Bag

Indulge in some extra shopping knowing you can check in an extra bag at no additional cost.

Airfare must already include a checked bag. Maximum weight 23kg.

Fast Bag

Enjoy seamless travel by collecting your checked-in bag (weighing no more than 15kg) from right beside the aircraft when you fly on regional domestic flights.

Alliance partner travel benefits

On selected routes, Koru Club includes travel benefits with alliance partners Air China, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines, with the specific benefits and lounge access varying by route and flight number requirements. Guest and child lounge access

Travelling with company? You can bring one guest who is travelling with you into the Koru Lounge before your flight.

You can also bring up to three children aged between 3 and 17 (inclusive), and children two and under.

Koru Club Extra Guest

You can purchase a Koru Club Extra Guest by signing into your Koru account, going to the 'Benefits' page and to the 'Add-ons' tab.

A maximum of one Extra Guest is allocated to you at a time and it may have a different expiry date to your Koru membership, depending on the date of purchase.

Organisations with a Koru Corporate account receive discounted Koru Club membership rates for their current employees, helping them enjoy a smoother, more seamless travel experience.

Terms and conditions

[1] A joining fee applies to new memberships, except for if you renew your membership within one month of expiry.

[2] New partner memberships are no longer available. Only existing memberships will be honoured for their term.

[3] Air New Zealand ticket numbers start with '086' and Air New Zealand flight numbers start with 'NZ'. The Koru Club Member's access to a Koru Lounge or Partner Lounge is directly prior to, for a stay of up to 4 hours and on the same day as the Koru Club Member's departure on a flight with an Air New Zealand ticket (starting with '086'), and a flight number starting with 'NZ' and the Koru Lounge and Partner Lounge is located in the same airport terminal as the Koru Club Member's flight.
