Domestic lounges

Our Air New Zealand Lounges are a great place to relax and refuel with something to eat and drink or to find a quiet space to get that last bit of work done before your flight departs.

Air New Zealand's lounge development programme

  • The Air New Zealand Auckland Domestic Lounge is undergoing a refurbishment from 6 January 2020, see below for details
  • The significantly renovated Air New Zealand Domestic Lounge at Wellington Airport opened in December 2019.

Auckland Domestic Lounge

The Air New Zealand Auckland Domestic Lounge is next up for a refurbishment. Work will begin from 6 January 2020.

Construction will commence on the barista area and lounge space behind this. During this time the usual menu, self-serve drinks and barista made coffee will still be available. However, as the lounge will be operating at a reduced capacity, at peak times guest access may be restricted.

With the larger Auckland Regional lounge now open members will have the option to access this lounge, whilst the staged construction is under way.

When the refurbishments are complete later in 2020, the lounge will remain in the same location, and offer 10% more seating than before and feature the signature modern Air New Zealand lounge design.
