Travelling or returning to North America

Please remember to check the requirements for all destinations and transit points, for both directions of your trip.

Travel to the USA

Entry

  • If you intend to travel into the United States, you must meet COVID-19 entry requirements set by the US Government.
  • You will also need to ensure you meet standard immigration requirements.
  • Please note that pre-departure testing and managed quarantine is required.
  • All passengers must present a health attestation form at check in, along with a negative test result. You will be unable to begin your journey to the United States if you are not able to present a valid negative test result.

Travel to Los Angeles

  • Most passengers arriving at LAX International Airport Los Angeles International Airport, Van Nuys Airport, or Union Station will be required to complete an Online Form to provide contact information and acknowledge they have read and understood the State of California's travel advisory.
  • The online form is required for all passengers over the age of 16 with Los Angeles as their final destination. Failure to comply could result in a fine of up to USD $500. Those transiting Los Angeles to another state or country are exempt from the form.

Travel to Canada

Entry

  • If you intend to travel into Canada, you must meet COVID-19 entry requirements set by the Canadian Government.
  • You will also need to ensure you meet standard immigration requirements.
  • All travellers must submit travel and contact information, including a suitable quarantine plan, electronically via ArriveCAN before boarding a flight. Failure to provide a suitable plan will result in denied entry.
  • Pre-departure testing and managed quarantine is required, as well as testing during the isolation period. Failure to comply could lead to fines, imprisonment, or both. There are some exceptions for eligible fully vaccinated travellers.
